The Campaign for Pickering Manor: Building a Community of Purpose for Tomorrow
Located in the heart of a residential neighborhood in Newtown, PA, Pickering Manor has the unique feel of its own neighborhood; truly a vital part of the greater community of Newtown. With its quaint cottages, wrap around front porch and stately main mansion, Pickering intends to keep that small town feeling as it grows to offer more services.
The new building and renovations of the existing building will allow Pickering Manor to provide services in four distinct “neighborhoods.” Personal care, skilled nursing, short term rehabilitation, and memory care complete with an outdoor memory garden.
Community Support
Knowing that Pickering Manor has deep roots in Bucks County history, the Board of Directors have planned carefully for several years to develop an addition to its current layout that will address these critical needs, while maintaining the unique, small, home-like atmosphere that has set us apart from our competitors in the region.
To achieve this goal, a Capital Campaign Committee, comprised of our board members and Newtown community leaders, have been tasked with raising approximately $1.5 million dollars for this cause. Monies raised will be used for construction, staff training, renovation of the current facility, improvements in outdoor space, and programming.
Pickering Manor has been fortunate to receive the financial support of residents and business owners in the vicinity and surrounding areas of Newtown and Bucks County. With your help, we can grow and continue to serve our residents with the best option in senior living available in the region.
